Revived in 2004 by Mazda, the 2005 Mazda RX-8’s rotary engine was put into this smart four door sports car when they launched this series in 2004. The rotary engine gives the car that extra pep, and makes urban driving a whole new experience. The weight balance of the car is equal both for the front and back, and two half doors at the back allow up to four passengers to travel at a time.
The 2005 Mazda RX-8 comes with two engine options, both powered by the Renesis rotary engine. One produces 197 hp, while the higher end model comes with 238 hp engine, depending on which transmission you choose.
The curvy exterior of the '05 RX-8 includes a power bulge on the low hood which houses a rotor motif. If you wish, you can add a sports package as an option which includes fog lamps, Dynamic Stability Control system, and xenon headlights.
